Do you enjoy experimenting, collaborating, and creating new ways of working?
We’re looking for a group of brilliant people to join us as part of GMAST’s development — and we’d love to hear from you.
What’s this all about?
GMAST is building a new kind of cultural climate co-operative for our region — rooted in values of care, equity, justice and collaboration.
Through the award of GMCA Culture’s Collaborate Funding we are creating a group of part-time secondment roles. The roles are aimed at people already working within GM whether within a cultural organisation or as a freelancer. These roles will run from November 2025 to April 2026 and are designed to help shape the future of GMAST — while learning, exploring and testing new ways of working together.
Each secondee will bring their own energy, creativity, skills and lived experience to the project. You don’t need to be an “expert.” We’re looking for people who are:
Curious
Collaborative
Committed to climate and justice
Interested in building something collectively
Further our sector’s response to the climate and ecological emergency
